ARMIDALE, Friday. - The New South Wales cattle drafting championship, contested at the Armidale rodeo, was won bv H. O'Neill's Radium, from Kun- derang Station, Macleay River. The bullock-riding championship went to Jack Station of Tamworth and the buckjumping championship to H. Brown of Glen Innes. Other events resulted as follows: - Releasing sureingle: Rob McKenzie. Trial cattle draft J. S. W Collins' Coonadoo from Queens- land. Consolation draft: W. J. Layton's Robin, from Ebor. Mile trot: Dixie ridden by Marjorie Bell. Flag race W. J. Beard. Best equipped stockman and best type of stock horse: K. Cameron (Glen coe). Clydesdale stallion: J. Moorehead's Cuver- thorpe Starlight. Trotting stallion: W. Beard's Little Don. Pony stallion: W. C. Symington's Bonnie Glim. The gate takings totalled £425. The rodeo ball is expected to show a profit of £120 and a play by the Teachers' Social Club, £35. The whole of the functions were in aid of Armidale charities.
