Fatal fall from horse

COUNTRY NEWS. ARMIDALE, Wednesday. As a result of concussion and shock caused by a fall from his horse while riding on his property, Kunderang Station, Macleay River, on Friday last Mr. Joseph Fitzgerald, aged 81 years, died yesterday. Deceased was one of the earliest pioneers of the Macleay, and daily went for a ride on his horse. He was a prominent horse breeder for many years. His son, Mr. J. P. Fitzgerald, is a well-known judge in show rings.
