Friday 26 January 1934, The Courier-Mail (Brisbane)

TENTERFIELD.

At the first committee meeting of the
Border Caledonian Society, Tenterfield,
the treasurer's statement for the Highland
gathering, held on New Year's Day, re-
vealed that the income was £367/4/10, and
the expenditure £290/1/. leaving a credit
balance of £77/3/10. It is hoped to in-
crease the prize money for the Pipe Band
contest to £100, in addition to the pro-
posed Leech-Miller trophy.
