Springcart passes over boy

TAMWORTH, Monday. Francis White, 11, of Upper Moore Creek, was severely injured when the wheels of a springcart carrying 12 cwt wood passed over him twice. He was driving the cart when it bumped into a tree, jolting him to the ground. He sustained probable fractures of the skull and ribs, internal injuries, and facial con- tusions. He was taken to hospital and his condition is serious.
