Obituary – Mt. F. W. Willmott

Mr. Frederick Wright Willmott, who died recently at Lindfield, was born at Coonamble in 1873. He was the youngest son of Mr. Arthur and Mrs. Jane Willmott, pioneers of the district. In his early life he engaged in pastoral pursuits In the Liverpool Plains district, and later in the New England district, where he was the owner of Oaklands station, Hillgrove, and afterwords of Glenross station, near Guyra. He then came to Sydney and became well known in city business circles. He was a director of the Producers and Citizens’ Co-operative Assurance Company, Limited, and also of the Commonwealth Land and Agency Company, Limited.
His wife, who is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Anderson, of Brookside station, Armidale, survives him.
