Blaze at sawmill

£6,000 Damage To Sawmill ARMIDALE, Wednesday.
Fire caused damage estimated at £6,000 to a sawmill at Ria Mukia, near Walcha, to-day.
R. J. Goldsmith and Sons own the mill.
Employees fought the blaze with buckets of water, sacks and pieces of sapling for more than an hour until they got it under control.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but police believe it started in the engine-room.
