Thursday 11 July 1935, The Sydney Morning Herald

KEMPSEY, Wednesday.

A display of silver ore obtained from Hall’s Peak mines, Upper Macleay, has caused much interest in Kempsey. It appears likely that the Broken Hill Proprietary, Ltd., will take control of the property. Messrs. Holloway and Tyne met the BHP Co.’s representative and it was decided that Mr. Church or Dr. Jack would inspect the property in company with local members about about the end of July.
