ARMIDALE, Saturday.
At half-past 3 am. yesterday the police discovered a young man named Alfred Johnson in a semi-conscious condition, lying in Beardy-street, bleeding profusely from the head and elsewhere. It is surmised that Johnson, who is staying at the Federal Hotel, walked in his sleep over the balcony. He was only partly dressed. He fell on to the roof of an adjoining building, and then to the roadway, 20ft. He was removed to the hospital.
