TAMWORTH, Friday.

Boxing contests, organised by Joe Molloy, a well known Northern pugilist, were held at the Central Hall last night. “Soldier Jack” Thompson, the middle- weight champion of Australia, who was located with the Australian Light Horse encamped with the R.A. A. Band, took part in the proceedings, having three rounds with P. Holden, of Inverell. “Nipper” Peaks and Joe Molloy also gave an exhibition.
