VERDICT OF MANSLAUGHTER AGAINST TWO RAILWAY OFFICIALS.

ARMIDALE. Wednesday.
An inquest was held to-day touching the death of Archie Banks, a coloured man, belonging to Sells’ Circus, who was killed in the railway collision yesterday. It resulted in a verdict of manslaughter against John Coleman, engine-driver, and Edward Kelly, guard, on the train, who were both committed for trial.
The other injured men are progressing favourably, and are out of danger.
