TAMWORTH, Friday.
Leslie William Clow, 19, was accidentally shot dead to-day while on a dingo shoot near Nyangala.
Clow, who resided at Ogunbil, near Tamworth, was a member of a large party. With two other men he hid in a clump of bushes awaiting the appearance of the dingoes. As another party approached, Clow rose from behind the bushes. Thinking he was a dingo, one of the approaching party fired a .22 calibre rifle and the bullet struck Clow in the face, killing him instantly.
