STRANGE FIND BY THE POLICE.
ARMIDALE, Thursday.
A magisterial inquiry was held at the hospital to-day on the body of an old man who was admitted to that institution yesterday, but died an hour afterwards. The cause of death was attributed to pneumonia, brought on by exposure. The deceased, who was a swagman, was camped on the outskirts of the town during the past fortnight. On the police searching his swag at his camp 18 skeleton keys, several picklocks, and some files were discovered.
