Removal of travel restrictions

A FEDERAL ORDER.
Yesterday the Government received the following telegram from the Superintendent of Police at Armidale:-“Director of Quarantine (Dr. Cumpston) directs that all restrictions regarding buffer area in this State have been removed. Persons may now proceed right to the border line. Queensland will not allow persons to cross border. Wilson’s Downfall and Lower Acacia Creek so advised by wire.”
