PLUNGE BY CAR

ARMIDALE, Sunday.

A man was killed when a car plunged 20ft down an embankment on the Armidale-Jeogla road, 33 miles east of Armidale to-night.

He was Charles Leslie Cundy, labourer, of Styx River, Jeogla.

Cundy was thrown from the vehicle and was pinned underneath it.

[... and in the process of doing this, I'll learn more about the history of the area in which I live. I'll concentrate on northern New England, at least initially, rather than the entire New England area, as that's the part I'm more familiar with.]
