MR. SPOONER AT URALLA.
URALLA, Friday.
The Minister for Local Government (Mr Spooner) received deputations from the municipal and shire councils respecting a water supply for Uralla and the building of a high-level bridge over the Gwydir River at Torryburn. Mr. Spooner, who was accompanied by the Minister for Education (Mr. Drummond), promised sympathetic consideration of the projects.
