GLEN INNES, Sunday.
A Rugby League match at Glen Innes today, between Glen Innes and Walcha, for the Gates Gold Cup, was abandoned in the first half because of the cold.
Walcha was leading Glen Innes 12-0 when the referee, Mr. Roy Fenton, covered in snow and sleet, almost collapsed.
