Armidale Pastures Protection Board meeting

ARMIDALE, – The Pastures Protection Board held its monthly meeting on Thursday. The bank balance showed a credit of £675 to the current account and £1000, at fixed deposit. During the year the expenditure totalled £3885, out of which £1806 was paid for scalps. The question of the eradication of briars and blackberries was discussed, and it was eventually decided to invite a delegate from the shire council to meet on the 22nd inst, with a view to taking concerted action. The board decided to reduce the bonus on hare scalps from 3d to 2d.
