Lauri and Dorothy Kennedy, cellist and pianist who are under contract to the Australian Broadcasting Commission, gave a concert in the Armidale Teachers’ College auditorium last night. Every one of the 750 seats was booked several days before the concert. The audience was enthralled by their artistry, and every item was warmly applauded.
After the concert, Lauri Kennedy stated that he was highly gratified at the discriminating applause of the audience, and that, on his return to England he would urge other artists coming to Australia to give concerts in Armidale.
